The PO called at 7:45 this morning. Two grey ameracuanas didn't make it. One grey ameracuana is in intensive care. I dip her (?) beak every 10 mintues or so.
Everyone else is running around their brooder, drinking, scratching, and snuggling. An extra aracuana was included
and they are handsome and alert.
The black and blue copper marans are quite lusty scratchers and eaters. The blks look like emperor penguin chicks!
Extra black and grey ameracuanas were included. There are 26 new chicks here today! Monitoring and cleaning paste is more of a challenge. (Not too bad. Only 6 so far, three were aracuanas who complained the loudest.)
Happyhappy! And thanks again!
I'll post pics when I find the camera. (My 6 year old uses it to, so it goes missing from time to time.)
