Omlet Auto Door Problem

I can use it everywhere but on my property oddly. And our wifi is splendid so if the doors connect to wifi we will have no issue.

That said I am still way more concerned about the door and its safety feature. My chickcozy works well and as I have electricity out in the coop I don’t need to rely on batteries except as a backup.

These discussions fascinate me. So happy I found this group.
What do you do in the rain? Water and electricity don't dance well together.

Are you talking about a Chickcozy auto door like the one I installed on the childrens playhouse below?
I have the simple one without wifi.

I had some trouble to adjust the closure to a later moment than the standard setting. It closed some time before the chickens wanted to roost. I choose the minimum lumen in combination with a time delay.

Never had a chickens between the doors. If something is in the way it stops closing.

This door didn’t close 2 days ago. It mentioned that the door was blocked. There was some dirt on the slide at the bottom. After removing the dirt, it works great again. There were no other issues.

The batteries go flat much sooner than the batteries in my Chickenguard (other coop). I only used the door for about 5 months and now the Chickcozy shows there’s only 20% energy left. But nice they are much easier to replace.
