Has anyone hatched eggs from EE and cochin frizzle. I have some in the bator right now and was wondering what they would look like...My cochin is also a bantam. I was wondering if they would have feathered legs or not, lay colored eggs still and how big would the chicken be....

I know nothing about frizzles but the feathered leg is dominant. I am pretty sure you may be out on the colored eggs but could be wrong. I'm still working on crosses but think they will lay light brown eggs.
Have you checked to see if the eggs are fertile? I hope they are, they sound like they may be cute.
On size, I expect them to be a little bigger than the Cochin, unless the female was a pullet. Then you are likely to have small offspring. My DD slipped a pullet egg into one of my batches and we have the cutest little Cochin mix roo from it. He would have been a lot larger if the egg had come from a grown hen. What's another pet, eh?

Depending on the genetics of the rooster the (the rooster carries and passes the shell color) you may get colored eggs. I have a lovely buckeye looking pullet who lays light green eggs!

Boy was that a suprise!

I have been working on frizzled EEs! I have a few generations in progress right now. Here are some from previous crosses. I'm still trying to get a nice compact pea comb, and I would like to see a darker egg color...right now they are light blue and a blue/green color. All have nice full muffs/beards. I did not use any Cochins though in this cross.

Hope those work.

Frazzled

When you cross a male frizzle with a straight-feathered hen most of the chicks will be frizzled. My offspring generally have the coloring of the hen and the frizzle of the rooster.
