? on crossing standard size with bantams

I am having trouble getting my hands on standard size True Rumpless Tufted Araucanas,However I am able to get bantam size Rumpless Tufted Birds. My question is if I cross them with my standard size birds will I get any standards. and which would be the best way to cross standard hen to bantam roo or standard roo to bantam hen.

Seems to me that crossing a bantam roo with a standard hen would be better.
And all those pullets and roos bred back to standards, if possible and all your bantams back to all those bantam/standard crosses till you get the size back up. Cull any small birds and keep only large fowl.
But I am no expert on chicken breeding.
I have however, extensively bred horses, dogs and guinea pigs so have studied genetics. Chicken breeding is proving to be a bit different and interesting.
