On day 26 and my first egg is hatching - 17 more still to hatch

Finally after waiting 26 days my one of my eggs is hatching. I still have 17 eggs left to hatch. I didn't realize it would take THIS long for them to hatch! I am worried because I am leaving tomorrow on a trip. I had made arrangements for someone to care for the chicks but I never expected that they would need to have to care for the hatching process! I hope everything will go smooth.
