? on orpington roos

I know that Roosters can be pretty mean to chicks, but i seen a pic of a Orpington Roo with his offspring, and was wondering if their (depending on the roo) OK with the chicks???

Take the time to see if it works out. You can't just place them in there with him and walk away, but try one and see what happens. I would not try this and expect good results, so be careful with the chicks good health in mind, and keep them seperate if you need to, which i would do anyway. This isn't a good formula....

When would it be alright to put a hen and her chicks back in with everyone else?
