Once again...there's a chicken in my house.

Quote:
Not much. She drank a lot this morning but she's not eating as much as I would like. She seems to be very sleepy. I felt for her crop and I can't feel anything so I reckon she's got nothing in her to poop out.

Yesterday she pooped a tiny amount (when she was outside) and it was this whitish yellow color.

Sounds like she's getting good care to me.

Maybe tempt her with some favorite foods. Would she like to live with your blind baby full-time?

If the runny nose seems to bother her you could try asking a vet for some sulfa to help her overcome her cold. I have 5 chickens with colds (runny noses) and I called around till I found a vet that treats chickens, explained their symptoms, and he sold me enough liquid sulfa to treat 16 gallons for 5 days for $5.25. Oh and they all have their spunk back.

I'm going to the grocery store right now. I'm going to get her some bananas and watermelon. Maybe some tomatoes.

I'm going to try her out as Blind Tiny's roommate. See how it goes.

I started reading this with a lot of concern for her and you.
THEN WHEN I REACH THIS PART
She pooped! A LOT!!! It was nasty. Merry Christmas to me. LOL

I Laughed so hard
