Once mean now nice?

Has anyone else had a teenager that wanted nothing to do with you, would run like its life depended on it, would peck you and was generally a little A-hole, but all of a sudden is jumping on you, trilling constantly, and overall a lot more trusting? The chick that was once in with her sadly passed away, and thats when she started acting terrified of me. I know chickens are simple minded creatures and its unlikely, but could she have somehow made the connection that I killed her sister? I didn't, but i did pick up the little body to bury in front of her. But if she did think that then why is she being so sweet all of a sudden?

Is she the only one left or was she very close to her sister? Chickens are social animals, maybe she just need another close companion and you are just always there.

Shes in close range with my adult hens but no one is in her cage with her unfortunately. I think what you said is most likely the case
