Unfortunately the pullets I bought from the local farm store ended up crowing so I need to find homes for my four boys. They have all been handled frequently. I am willing to drive a fair distance to get them into good homes. They have been raised as pets and we are very fond of them and hate to see them go but they must.

Bachelor #1
Graybeard--Easter Egger (16 weeks)

He is gorgeous and likes to crow about it.

Bachelor #2
Violet(aka Gobblers)--Silver-laced Wyandotte (16 weeks)
Gobblers is calm and has a lovely personality. His tail feathers are a but sad at the moment but he promises to be a really gorgeous boy when his feathers finish growing out.

You can see his lacing a little better in this photo. My daughter just loves him.

Bachelor #3
Silver--Easter Egger(now 16 weeks)
I need to get some photos of him still. He is a typical white with gray shading and red patches on his wings. He is a sweetheart. He is similar in color to Noodles. Here is baby Silver.

Noodles (11 weeks) has always been a little different. He doesn't act like a rooster and I would not have thought he was except that he has tried to crow. I am not sure why he is the way he is but he is really quite cute. We call him the Noodle-potomus because he looks like a little hippo when he charges around the run. He just makes us laugh. If I knew a vet that would caponize him I would seriously consider keeping him but the one exotics vet I know of doesn't neuter chickens.

Salisbury Missouri (north-central) and I regularly drive to Columbia but I don't mind a road trip

Oh ok yeah I live in Louisiana, I have some silver laced wyandottes, some purebreed ameraucanas, and few easter eggers and 1 baby bantam

Louisiana may be a bit more of a drive than I had planned. How far north are you? I haven't been there in years but I loved it. I went to New Orleans for my honeymoon a long, long time ago. The culture is amazing

I'm way at the bottom an hour from new Orleans , I wouldn't worry about it cause that would be some hrs. Driving

Hi there! If he's still looking for a home, I could give the Silver Laced Wyandotte roo a good one. I have lots of chooks but only a few roos. I have one mature Australorp rooster and three young Faverolles cockerels. But I have LOTS of girls (over 40 of them)... and two of them happen to be SLW. :) I've been keeping my eyes peeled for boys to go with the breeds of girls that I have.

I live on 7+ acres about 45 minutes south of Kansas City. My birds run around the farm all day and most are locked up at night. (there are a few who sleep on shelves and rafters in my grain room though).

I'm not looking for a meat bird, I'm looking for a bachelor. LOL! Let me know if he's still searching for new roomies. :)

Here's a pic of my eligible girls. ;-)

Unfortunately, I have already rehomed my SLW. The only roo I have left is an Easter Egger. It sounds like it would have been an awesome home though. I guess I should update my post.
