one big egg

    So I thought I.'d put this post here on our poultry forum, since it is about birds and this egg was laid by one. Ostrich owners if you thought you had the worlds largest egg ever think again! The elephant bird laid huge eggs and stood i believe 15 ft tall and weighed in at least 800 pounds. Here is the article about the egg right here!
    So ratite farmers, how would you like to have a bird like this on your farm? To bad it's extinct ;(
