One Breed/Color Only Flock Owners!!!!

Hello I know lots of us on here have multiple breeds, ARe there any of us that have just one specific breed only? ,I think it would be nice to watch a flock of the same breed in the yard! ,I have seen flocks of same breeds in oldtime photos ,and plantation pictures, they always look so stately and classic, ...Anybody, have any real good pics of there same breed/color flock, ,around here the only ones I see are like the local farmer with the same for production, but I am talking for yard eye-candy! I hope this makes sense ,[cus im confused now]lol thanks PS also Which breed did you choose, and why that particular breed?? And if you dont, which breed would you pick and why? thanks

I would love to have a full flock of just silkies or polish.
But i love so many breeds its hard to just stick with one!
I also like to save chickens that may have been culled so i end up with alot of different breeds.
In the end i only use them as pets so, thats just fine with me :].

I know, I cant stick to one breed , but If I were to pick I think a flock of Light Brahmas would look beautiful walking around on some lush green grass!

I personally love just one breed ( although, there are a couple more I would like to have). Many vistors have commented on how nice it looks to have one breed of chicken all free ranging together. I have SLW's. Will try for some photos of them.

My flock consist of only white birds if that counts but I do have two browns mixed in my flock.

We're expanding our breed selections - but for now only the White Leghorns get to free range together and it's pretty funny to watch the white moving around in the green. There are 4 roos and 1 hen and they are currently 10 weeks old.

My advice - if you intend to name them or need to figure out who is who - you will want to band them somehow. I didn't and now they all look the same to me - except of course for the pullet. They are collectively known as "the Leghorns".

Here they are younger and hanging out in the run together.

My intention was to have just one breed. It sort of got away from me.

I couldn't find ducks of the breed I wanted, so settled for another breed. Then I found my ducks and when they arrived, 2/3 of the order were Pekins instead of the breed I ordered. So now I have 3 breeds.

The geese were an accident. Although, I really am going to get that down to one breed. I want a nice flock of just Pomeranians, so I will re-home the Blues.

I have Pekins They were meant to be all Pekins but one of my chicks was a surprise Pekin x Sikie.

They are different colours though.

My first flock of 7 are all barred rocks. We chose them because they are self-reliant, have good camouflage (they were free-range for 2 years), are friendly and smart.

I got a mixed flock this time - "columbian wyandottes" (BAD blood from Meyer hatchery), partridge rocks, australorps - and if I were to choose again, I'd get only the rocks in a heartbeat. I guess my impression of wyandottes is unfair because these kids have some seriously messed up genetics (shy/lethargic/very poor eyesight), and the australorps are very intelligent and beautiful, but I just love love LOVE the personalities of the rocks I've had to date. A "mixed" flock of different colored plymouth rocks would probably be my ideal someday.

Edited to add:

We banded the barred rocks thinking we wouldn't be able to tell them apart (for a while there we couldn't). Once they got older their personalities and combs set them apart. I can now tell which hen is which by the shape of her comb!
