Last night was lock down, as I was turning the eggs for the last time I noticed a pip mark. I immediately put water in the dish with sponges and shut the lid.

This morning the pip mark was bigger, by lunch a few little bits of shell gone, then we had to head out for a few hours...got home at 5:30 and she was out of the egg and half fluffed up.

We got the brooder ready and when it was at a constant temp, we put her in. She had a very tiny bit to eat and no water...I stuck my finger in the water and to her beak and she took some and then shook her head like "WTH was that!?!?!" Anyway...she knows where her food is, where the water is, there is a little mirror as her egg mates are not due to hatch till Tuesday...

I need to go to bed, but I am nervous. She seems to be wanting to sleep but every time I go in there I disturb her awake...

Is it normal to be nervous...and is there anything I need to worry about????
