Crowing
My broody is sitting on a bunch of eggs. Only one hatched and I think that the others are infertle. If so is one chick bad?

Ok, thanks.(No expert but if under a broody then I wouldn't say one chick is bad since it'll have its mother.)
Just hatched about 3 hours ago. Candled the others and most are liquidy and the others don't seem to be furtle. One fairy egg though that could be alive, it's to small for my flashlight. How long ago did the chick hatch and how many others are there? Are you able to candle them?
I will but I still do have low hopes. Hopefully they hatch.I want to stress I'm no expert but I would give the others a bit more time if broody is still sitting on them, unless you are absolutely sure they are not viable. I left mine 36 hours after the first chick hatched.
No other chick hatched yet. I also can't buy more chicks. Hopefully this won't hurt the chick mentally. If they were all started at the same time they should all be hatching soon. My broody‘s hatch day was Tuesday, she was sitting on 5 and only one hatched. She was faithfully sitting by late the next day so I took her off the nest and checked the other eggs and all were duds/infertile. We ended up buying 4 tractor supply chicks for her and gave them to her late that evening and it was an immediate success. I think once she was done mothering the single chick, it would have been hard for that one to integrate with the flock. View attachment 2252675
