Just wanted to say my little baby died today while I was gone at work

I'm a little relieved for him/her because I knew something was off and believe with the foot problem he/she always acted in pain. I hope she passed as peaceful as she could.

Noahsmom, I'm so sorry for your loss! It's so sad to lose them, but at least he or she is at peace now. She was lucky to have you, who took such good care of her!

Just wanted to update this.. our little chick has been doing great! She stopped doing the odd staring off into space behavior, doesn't act oddly anymore, eats like a champ, and is growing so nicely! This photo was from last week.. she had a little growth spurt over the weekend, which made me happy! She's still smaller than the others, but not by much.

Glad to hear she's doing good! We had 2 turkens in our group that were the same size as our bantams. Cackle doesn't have bantam turkens so I wasn't sure what the deal was. Sometime in the last couple of weeks they've caught up with the other guys and you'd never know they were so small to start with.
