Hello all,
My six, four week old Columbia Rock chicks are growing their feathers in and one of them looks very different from the others! She was always unique because of a small, black spot on top of her head (all the others were pure yellow, except for their wings) but she's become much more noticeably different. The others' necks are mostly white with some black shading, but her neck is mostly black! The rest of her body is the same as the others though. Is it common for this much variation to occur among chicks? They came from the hatchery, so I'm assuming they're healthy but I just want to make sure...
Thanks!
