I realize it isn't. But, it looks as though the little guy has a broken neck. That is the only thing I can compare what it looks like.

My wife seems to think it hasn't been eating?

This is my first flock, and I really don't want the little thing to die, if I can help it.

Please advise,

A picture may help, but it sounds like your chick has wry or crook neck. It is a neurological symptom that may be genetic, or from a head injury, vitamin deficiency, or in older birds, a disease such as Newcastles, Mareks, and many others. Start giving some vitamins in the water and help it to get enough to eat. Here are a couple of links for you:

Hi Eggcessive,

Sorry for the late reply.

We isolated the chick from the others, as soon as we noticed its condition. But, not long after doing so, we noticed the bird seemed to be doing better. We gave it meds, vitamins, food and water. We kept it in a box in the house over night.

The next morning, the little fellow seemed fine. No worries, I did not put it back with the others. Instead, I had it sent to the farm and placed in a brooder there, separated from the flock at the farm. (We raise the chicks at our home in the city, but the farm is 30km outside the city.)

The only thing we noticed that was odd, was the lack of feathers on its body, as noted in some of the following images.
