One died, wondering if contagious

One of my favorite chickens just died. Her feathers were falling out a little in the back and other feathers were broken near the ends. Her breathing was very heavy and she was very lethargic. She also had yellow-white diarrhea. I found her this morning and was wondering id you could tell me what was wrong with her and if it is contagious. Thanks for your help!

Birds disguise when they're not feeling good really well. Most times you may not know your bird is sick until it dies. It's frustrating because obviously at that point you can't help them. Sorry, that's all I have for you.

No I don't have a roo but she was low in the pecking order.
