One duck sits way more often than the others

We have a small flock of three ducks, and lately I’ve noticed than one duck has been spending more time sitting than the other two. I also just noticed that her wing tips cross significantly more than the others (see pics).

A few questions, if anyone can answer them: are the sitting and the wing tips possibly related? Could the frequent sitting be a symptom of niacin deficiency? Is this a cause for concern?

I just learned that the crossed wings aren’t actually an issue—but my question about sitting frequently still stands.

How old is she? It's possible it's a niacin issue - but it could be something else, or maybe she's just lower energy. My Welsh are much higher energy than two of my pekins and they could wander forever. What are you feeding them?

All three of them are eleven weeks old. We’ve been feeding them Purina flock raiser since they were nine weeks old, and just switched them to Kalmbach duck & chicken grower.

They free range, and I made an entrance underneath our porch in the hopes they could hide from aerial predators there. I swept under the porch with a metal detector first, but I’m sure some pieces got past me, so I’m concerned this also could be an early sign of hardware disease. But I also tend to be a worrier, so it’s hard to say.

Oh and I should add she’s a Cayuga. We also have a Welsh—I feel like they should have similar energy levels? Our third is a Pekin and right now she’s showing more energy than little Pepper :/

Have you checked the bottom of her feet to make sure it's not bumble foot? If it were my duck I would start her on liquid vitamin B complex just to make sure it's not niacin deficiency. Some ducks just need extra and this stuff works miracles.

I actually haven’t checked the bottom of her foot, I hadn’t even been thinking of bumblefoot since it seemed more like an energy level thing than an injury—but that’s a good thought, I’ll check it first thing tomorrow morning. And I started adding rooster booster vitamin B complex to their water tonight, hopefully she’ll show some improvement over the next day or two.

Thank you so much for your replies, I really appreciate the help 🙂.
