One egg not hatched - how long should I wait?

Our mummy duck, Daisy, was sitting on eight eggs. Six hatched out successfully two days ago, one has vanished (!) and the final one is still in the nest but showing no signs of pipping. My guess is that it probably won't hatch now but I don't want to take it and dispose of it if there's still a chance that it might. I was going to take it to candle it but Daisy made a bit of a fuss and rolled it back underneath her earlier. Having said that , she's been off the nest with her six ducklings for most of the day.

Any advice please? Might it still have a chance?

Wait until she's off the nest to candle. I'd wait another day or so before disposing of the egg.
