One egg not losing as much?

First let me say this is my first time hatching eggs - it’s such an amazing experience.

I have 5 eggs in my nurture right 360. All seem to be developing great from what I can tell. Temp is 99.5 and humidity Ive keeping around 35-45.
I weighed eggs at 6 days, 13 days and just now at 16 days.
4 eggs are Easter egger eggs and have lost about the same amount of moisture each.
Putting in incubator- 60g
Day 6 - 57g
Day 13- 55g
Day 16 (today) 53g

I also have 1 marans egg and it hasn’t lost as much weight.
Putting in incubator-62
Day 6- 59
Day 13-58
Day 16-57

Should I be worried about the Marans egg? I’m worried if I lower the humidity, the other eggs will continue losing too much? Should I keep the humidity steady where I’m at or adjust?

Thanks so much for the suggestions!

Short answer, leave it alone.

Long answer. Mother nature was kind enough to give us a fairly wide window of how much moisture loss works for the egg to hatch. We don't have to be that precise.

Each egg is different. They lose moisture before incubation begins. How much depends a lot on how and how long the egg was stored before incubation began. If they are stored in a warm dry area they lose more moisture than in a cool damp place. The porosity and thickness of the shell has an effect on how much is lost. The thickness of the egg whites inside the egg can vary.

Each egg is different. They can start the process from different places and can lose moisture at different rates. It's basically impossible to provide the perfect situation for each individual egg. Your goal is to provide the environment where the majority of the eggs are in that window. Thankfully nature gave us a fairly wide window.

I don't weigh my eggs to track moisture loss. Some people that weigh theirs do not weigh individual eggs but weigh them all together and use the average to make their decisions.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

This makes me feel so much better. Thank you! I’ll keep up what I’ve been doing and of course hope for the best!
