I was about to pull the plug on my incubator last Saturday--after more than 24 hours of no power (due to the fire), lots of smoke room temperature eggs that didn't get turned because we were evaucated and I had to leave them behind--I drove my incubator 15 miles to work and plugged it in Saturday night (we lost power Friday).

As I'm sitting here now--I hear cheeping & peeked through the window--one of my mille eggs is hatching!

It's pipped!! These are from my own little birds--the hen is from someone on eggbid and the rooster is from Lynne's birds...

Well .. THAT would be the answer to NOT missing a hatch due to having to be at WORK, huh??

Too funny...

LOL Well, I knew those 4 eggs were due very soon--so last night, I raised the humidity a little bit and stopped that section of the turner...the BLRW's are still in there along with some Cayuga eggs...but I'd just put those in not long ago...

Wouldn't your co-workers notice the cheeps? Bet you will have a horde of people standing around your workspace wanting to see the cutie. As previously stated...CONGRATS and I hope you get more.
