Hi all, I have a guinea fowl keet that is just under a week old, I moved it to the brooder pen a couple of days ago with the other keets that hatched a bit before it. It is a bit smaller than the others and had to integrate on its own as it hatched late, and recently I’ve noticed it has been standing under the heat igloo and looking very tired. I have taken it out multiple times to warm it between my hands in case it might be cold, checked it’s bum for any crusty bits (looks okay) and have hand-fed some water as it doesn’t seem to drink much like the others. After putting it back each time, it perks up for a while and tries to muscle in with the others to get food. But it eventually will go back under the heat and just stand there.

The other keets don’t seem cold, so I’m not sure what to do for this little guy. Should I put it back in the incubator on its own? Anything else that could be wrong? Any advice welcome. Thanks x
