One kids thinks this is a rooster?

Fertile eggs do not look/taste any different from non-fertile eggs. If one of your hens produces a blood spot, it is Completely her fault, not the roo's...

pardon my ignorance, but I was under the impression that when eggs get fertilized by the rooster, the eggs turn into bloody-eggs...

They will only start to develop if a hen sits on them and starts the incubation process. If you collect your eggs daily, you won't notice any difference between fertile and non-fertile eggs.

Fertilized eggs turn bloody after incubation starts. generally after about 3 days of incubation you can "candle" the egg and see veins which contain blood.

My roo is 18-weeks and is just a little further along in feathering, but he has almost the same coloring and posture. I am saying definite roo. He has the same hackle feathers and the same saddle feathers coming in as mine. Where did you get him and when did he hatch? I got mine as the free chick from McMurray.
Here is my Lester
