One last hen

I have one 3 year old hen left from my flock of four. Should I find her a new home or let her stay alone?

I think one hen would be very lonely? Is getting her a friend or two not an option?

I have been in your shoes. She'll be okay but it would be better if she had another hen or young hens to pal around with. Good luck!

A friend or two is important for her well-being. She’s a flock animal, so that can affect her quality of life. She relies on flock mates for companionship. Perhaps you spend a lot of time with her, but nothing can really replace the company of another chicken. Good wishes for your girl.

My last hen is having to be euthanized today and my rooster and one duck are left behind. Do I need more hens for my roosters well being?
