Yay, I have managed to hatch one little fellow!!! He has been out of the egg for 16hrs now but has not gotten fluffy. Is this normal? His fluff all seems to be crusty. Should I do something? Im still waiting for 20 other eggs to hatch in the incubator. Im worried that they are not going to hatch - today is day 22. Helpppppppp!!!
-Or am i just a nervous mamma?

Did any of your others hatch yet? You could also try slipping it in with the momma hen tonight when everyone is asleep.
  4. Yea he needs a buddy. So I would either put him with Mama or get him a stuffy (it's what I've done for mine since I don't have broodies). I hope some others hatch [IMG]
Hopefully you can post pics when he's all fluffed out.
And yes, he will fluff out but it takes FOREVER.
