One Mean Cochin

I have 2 Bantam Cochins. and one of them is mean. It is fine with the other chickens but as soon as I come around it tries to bite me. It will jump up and try to bite. I usually just pick it up and tell it I am not afraid of it, but it is rather annoying. Any ideas how to fix this?
