one of my chickens has almorrana (that's the word in spanish for the disease don't know what it's called in english).
It's basically when some of the runny poop gets stuck on the feathers under the anus. She's alert but slow walking and the area smells bad although the anus and surrounding area is mostly clean.
What's it called and how do I treat her? All I did was clean the area somewhat and put some coconut oil around it as I heard it was an antiseptic.
Anyone have any clue?

Can you post some photos?

Is her vent prolapsed - does she have red tissue protruding from her vent?
A bad smell is not good, if she's especially dirty, it would be a good idea to give her a washing up (take before and after photos please).

Hopefully with a little more information and photos we can offer some better suggestions.

no prolapsed vent. Or red tissue protruding from the vent.
Will try to take pics tomorrow and give her a washup.. Thanks by the way.

You might bring her inside, and soak her in a shallow warm soapy bath to soften and rub off some of the poop. Dry her thoroughly with a towel and a hair dryer. If you cannot bring her inside until she is dry, skip the soak. Sometimes you can trim some excess fuzz, and also check her for mites and lice, and white clumps of lice egg at the base of feathers. Post some pictures if you can.

Done I'm including some low quality pics here..chicken is a bit listless. Pics below are after cleanup so I suspect the water is what has darkened the feather color under her vent. I've also isolated her from the other chickens outside.

What is she eating? Her crop looks very distended. How does it feel? Full and hard or puffy? Does her breath smell sour or bad? Can you recheck it early in the morning at daylight before she eats or drinks? She might have a pendulous or sour crop. Do you have a picture of her vent cleaned up?

I would give her water and soft mushy foods today, but no whole grains or seeds. Feed a little plain yogurt, soft cooked egg, and feed made wet with a lot of water.
