Hey guys! The last two days one of my chickjens suddenly started laying her eggs in a different box than all the rest. She seems fine. So, do the all the others in the other box. Just curious as to whether this could signal a potential problem? Anyone know?

Thanks. Sometimes they are all in there together. maybe tomorrow she'll go back. we'll see. Thank you.
They also like to show us that we can’t always figure them out. Just when we think we know something about them or their favorite spot they go and mix it up :barnie
They could drive us insane sometimes.

Chickens will change it up for no discernable reaaon sometimes. I have a 6-nest laying condo plus three half milk crates plus two wooden nest boxes with roofs for our main flock of 16 hens to choose from. They use the lower right and upper middle of the nest condo, the wooden box on the right, and one milk crate. And the floor of the coop. And under the tractor bucket. And in the weeds against the fence. Some days, all the eggs will be in two or three places; next day, it's a scavenger hunt. Day after, all eggs will be in the nest condo.

I wish mine would find a place and just stick to it.
