One of my girls is missing! "Update"

Hope you find her. Leave no stone (or staw bale) unturned!
We lost a Silkie last week. Found her wedged between the wall and a storage crate.... Wheww!
Good luck.

Hoping you find her soon and that she is okay.
Could she have gotten stuck somewhere somehow?
Ugh - such a worry.
Keep us posted.

I haven;t been able to go out there yet. i have my 5 year old, 2 year old and 1 year old that I watch and 2 month old nephew in the house! I keep looking out, but no one has really ventured out of the houses yet...I am hoping to see her today! I will be able to go out at nap time in a little while!

You have your hands full with a lot of little humans - my goodness!
If Mouthy has been outside since yesterday, every hour may be crucial given how cold it is. I hope you or someone can look for her soon and that she will be okay.

I didn't see her all day today so I figured she was gone for good, BUT tonight when I went out to feed the horses, there she was all puffed up and cold next to the pen. I took her into the heated coop and she warmed up and started eating! I was so happy to see her!

I had one go missing this fall a couple of times. The first time we went looking all over in the dark. I free range mine and they always come in to roost at night. She showed up two days later. Then a few days after that she went AWOL again. I was not as worried this time and she came back the next day. We are far from other farms so she did not go visiting another chicken. I am not sure what she did but she has not been missing since.
