One of my hens is nesting were critters are eating her eggs help!!!

I closed off the nest so she cant get in it now because her laying there is a total loss if I make a safe place with wire around it and a way in and out like smoehitng to hop up on to get in and another to get out do you think that would entice her to use that spot or is there any other way i can help out ?
