He has been laying on his side all day. I am not sure what to do. They others seem to cover him up from time to time.

any ideas.

I gave him some pedilite and some polyvisol.

He sure didn't want it! I gave him as much as he would suck up, but still laying down.

ho old is it?
and what breed

I once hatched some bobs and had lot of them not able to walk
i was so afraid to loose them but couldn do anyting else than waiting

next day all were walking normal

I had a coturnix chic that could not stand even after 3-4 days. He was bright eyed and vibrant but would just scoot or spin in circles and could never stand normally. He could only eat if food was on the floor. Both legs seemed to work but he would have some sort of shaking or seizures and when I would put him up he would just fall over. So I sent him to quail heaven.

He moves all over the place. Well he scoots. Not sure if he has spraddle or not. He keeps them straight out for the most part

Medicating won't do any good then. I think something is wrong with his legs. Try putting him in a little cup so he is forced to stand. That should help him build up strength so he can walk.
