I have three muscovy ducklings, 3 wks old. We had been wondering of "Morton" (yellow with pink bill) was a drake because his bill was much larger than the other two. "He" also hatched out the biggest. But now "Meadow" (brown and black) is suddenly about 1 1/2 times the size of the other two LOL so I'm guessing drake.

That is usually a clear indication...of course, there are a lot of factors that can also contribute such as whether they're from the same parents or type of bird (standard bred vs utility) etc.

Usually, though, you can reliably guess that if they're significantly larger by about 4 weeks then they're drakelets.
