One of my quails wont walk much and just stand there sleeping unless i push them forward. She wont or drink water and i have to feed her myself

Her Poop looks white and brown. Quails are sleeping so i cant really show pictures. i have few quail and no others are showing symptoms. I feed them seeds and grain with dry worms. It is a common quail. Their living space is a 20x16 cage and there arent any hiding places, should i add hiding places?

Okay, so you have at least 3 quail in an approximately 3 square foot cage. That's small for them, but probably not the cause of your issue. I'm guessing that the issue is their diet. Seeds, grains, and worms aren't likely to give them the nutrition they need. Do you have access to game bird feed? Which feed depends on their age. Adults can get away with a chicken layer feed, but that will be a bit light on protein for them. Chicks and young quail (I'm guessing coturnix) need a good game bird or turkey starter with 28-30% protein.

Your quail will definitely be happier with hiding places. If you have all hens, you aren't in bad shape, but if you have even one male, you may be looking at some violence. The ideal ratio is 1 male to 5 females. If you have more than one male, especially in such a small space, they're going to fight, likely until one dies. If you don't have enough females, the male will overbreed the girls and they can get injured or even killed.

Ill add hiding places for sure, What feed do you recommend? im also thinking of building a bigger cage for them. My quail are around 2-4 years old.

2-4 years old? That's quite old for coturnix quail. For that age, I would recommend either game bird maintenance feed or an all flock feed.

If your girl is on the 2 year end, she may recover with proper feed. If she's 4, then it might be age related and she's just reaching the end of her life.

Shes on 2 or 3. She’s gotten worse and she now has something similar to wry neck, her head is always to the side and she cant walk well. Wry neck or something else. What can i feed her as a treatment

You could try some Nutri-Drench, but at this point, a proper diet is her best chance.

Yes thank you. I’ve found very bad news.. she has newcastle and it has no treatments. I dont know what i can use and im not sure if you know about that. I think shes just dead now.

I'm very, very sorry to hear that. Newcastle's is very virulent, and very contagious.

If she has Newcastle's, you need to euthanize your entire flock. If you have chickens or other fowl, those too. I can't stress enough that it is very serious and very contagious. If it gets reported, they will all be euthanized whether you want them to be or not.

Do NOT sell, trade, or transfer any of your birds to anyone else. The last outbreak that I knew of in southern CA took about two years before anyone was allowed to export or bring birds in.
