I think it is a roo. Whenever I've seen a comb like that, it's been a rooster.

All young chicks will spar to establish the pecking order. I find little roosters are more forward than pullets and will often approach my hand more readily.Would it mean anything if when this one is running, jumping, and playing with the others, it jumps and kicks both legs forward? It's the only one that does that, the others jump at each other face first. I'l try and get it on video in slomo sometime. It's legs are about the same size as the others but it's also the smallest bird too

There is a good chance it is a boy but only time will tell. So please take this with a grain of salt - don't want to mislead you.
