One of our turkeys bit Drumstick

Drum went out to feed our turkeys some stale crackers. One bit
his finger and drew blood. Those ingrateful SOBs. We put them in the
barn for warmth and this is how they repay us???

Drum is running his hand under the sink right now. The turkey is
cowering in the corner and looks very tastey.

Thanks for the fun replies friends.

This is all my fault. I have been handfeeding them since they were
babies. They are only around 8 weeks but they are huge.
Some are being processed this weekend.

Poor turkey. Now he has to go around with the taste of dirty little boy hands in his mouth.

Drum - I love my turkeys. I have standard bronzes. They just wanted to taste you before you tasted them.

Did you see the show "How Stuff Works" last night on discovery? They went to a heritage free range turkey farm and the poults were just gorgeous and happy. Like the ones in your barn.

PC, get the boy a new duck for his injury.
