One of Sebastian's new siblings-new pics added

Hi Amanda. I believe we have a little boy here. I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you. We've had a ton of things go wrong and I feel like my whole world is spinning.

Unfortunately another one of the goslings that hatched, died shortly after hatch. I'm not sure why.

We still have 3 more eggs due to hatch this week so Sebastian is still getting his siblings!!

I'll post a picture of this little one in a few moments. I have to go get him out of his brooder.

I'm so sorry to hear that things have been hectic and that one of the goslings passed away. It's always so difficult to lose pets. I don't think most people truly understand how horrible it feels.

Thank you for posting the new pictures. Dillon looks very proud. I bet he's a huge help to you. He's very fortunate to get to spend time with you and to be around all your wonderful animals!

My husband asked me today if it was wrong to have a "favorite." As I type this, he's lying on the floor and curled up with Sebastian. The ducks and ducklings are trying to get in on the cuddling, too. (Our 5 dogs are sitting on the other side of the door, being beyond jealous.)

We're anxiously waiting to hear about the new hatches later this week!

Hope things get better,
Amanda

I am sorry about your loss!

I'm dealing with hatching problems as well with one of my new babies. It's really stressful and emotional.

Your gosling is adorable though, he is going to grow up to be huge!

My grandson, Dillon, actually lives with me. I've had custody of him since 2003. He's a good boy and a huge help with the animals. All of them love him and I think its because of his innocence. He has Aspergers syndrome and really enjoys living here in TN. We moved here from NY not quite 3 years ago.

I'm watching these other eggs. The air cells are starting to get larger so we're moving toward a hatch!! YAY!!

Give Sebastian lots of love from me!!

Another gosling just pipped!! Come on baby! It may be 48 hours before he or she hatches but at least it's pipped!! YAY!!!

Here's a pic of Sebastians brother and his brooder mate. The brooder mate is a Brown Chinese X Roman Tufted cross. Right now the two of them are curled up fast asleep down my shirt. LOL

Yea on the pipping! It's great to see that this little guy is healthy. And, the other baby has such an adorable beak!

Dillon's so lucky to have you. You're amazing. I'm sure you feel the same way about him.
