One of the chicks can't walk :(

There is one chick in my clutch (just hatched today ^^) That has swollen feet and it can't walk. Well, it can, but after like 2 paces it bobs down to rest or something. All of its siblings are fine and are eating okay. I'll try to get a pic tomorrow. Is this contagious??? Should I isolate?

I doubt it has something contagious because all the chicks would be displaying the same thing if that were the case. It sounds like it may have a defect- genetic, congenital or hatch problem. Treat it like the others and hope for the best would be my recommendation. Maybe there is a circulation issue that will work itself out?

I think that's it! Now he can walk but his feet are yellowish and the swelling has all but subsided

He's completely yellow though (like you would expect a light sussex chick, i suppose) but he's acting normal. Thanks so much! I will post a pic
