I have a banty who laied eggs at diffrent times, I let her lay on them yesterday she came out with one chick ( so cute) they were running around the yard and my kittys wanted to play with it. So I took the chick and put it in a cage with shavings. It peeped so loud and the mom was having a fit and not laying on ther other eggs I brought her and the eggs in with the chick. The chick is happy as a clam, meanwhile the eggs the mom had had gotted cold outside, she is laying on them now and wont move off of them and the chick is haggin in her wing and comes out to eat and drink. I am wondering if the eggs will make it since they got cold. What do you think???

It'll probably be fine since it's almost home.

I had a banty black rosecomb bail from the nest with her chick leaving the last egg ...overnight. It got down to the 50's. I found it the next morning when I noticed she had moved her nest to the floor of the coop because the chick must've jumped down and couldn't get back up. I tossed it in the bator and had a delayed but healthy hatch.

Good Luck
