Megan glanced their way, holding up a finger. "Be right with you, ladies," she said.
"OK," Saige said.
Fay listened to everything Saige told her.
"Hm. This place sounds nice, and I like the look of it." She said happily. "I wonder if we'll actually end up enjoying this place. Seems unlikely, but possibly..."
"We might... At least the shops are nice, which keeps us happy, which keeps us conscious right?" Saige joked, she waited for Megan to come to them. "Have whatever you want, on me!" Saige told Fay.

"Oh, I see," Megan turned her back to him and pretended to be looking for something under the counter. It had been a little more than six years since she had waken, appeared, whatever you wanted to call it, here. Despite the time, it was still fresh on her mind. Every morning she went over that day in her mind, trying to piece together how and why she was here. She finally stood after several minutes. "Have you been given your address yet?" She now asked.

"No I don't think I have been given one yet" he said as he took a sip of his coffee"this is very good, thank you"

"If you stop by the police station next door and just mention it, they'll give you one. Everyone is given an address and a house when they arrive. Most, if not all, of your personal belongings should be there already," Megan explained.
She then turned to Saige and Fay. "All right, ladies. What can I get you?" She asked. She was smiling still, not because she was overly happy to serve them, but because over the six years she had perfected keeping a happy smile on her face 24/7. She had yet to go to be sent back to the hospital building, and planned on keeping it that way. She only knew of that punishment because she had heard a few muffled conversations among her customers who had been sent back once or twice. Overall, the police tried to keep it hush hush, it seemed.

"I'll have 2 blueberry muffins and a cup of tea with sugar and honey, please!" Saige told her and turned to Fay "What do you want?" she asked her.

"I'd like a cup of chamomile tea, please. With nothing in it." Fay said politely.
Megan disappeared behind the curtain and quickly returned with a pan of fresh blueberry muffins. "Perfect choice, and timing," she chuckled. She placed two on a plate for Saige then went to the far counter to prepare the tea leaves. While they steeped, she took down a little pot labeled Sugar and another labeled Honey, as well as two navy blue mugs. "Are you two new around here?" She asked, but then quickly corrected herself. "Well, I know you, Miss Saige, just arrived, by what about your friend?" She loved to chat with her customers and get to know them, especially those who had just arrived in Crestfallen.

"Oh, yes, I just arrived." Fay told Megan. "I'm not too sure about how I feel about the place so far though, mostly just confused."

"Yes, it's a little... weird, here..." Saige said.
"Ha, yeah, things can be a little strange here sometimes." Megan set the teacups before each, warning to watch out because they were still very hot. She put her elbows on the counter with one fist under her chin. "Do you two have any plans for the remainder of today?" She asked.

Fay thanked her for the tea.
"Well, I don't." She said honestly. "But I'll explore this place a little more tomorrow, for sure."
