"Ha, yeah, things can be a little strange here sometimes." Megan set the teacups before each, warning to watch out because they were still very hot. She put her elbows on the counter with one fist under her chin. "Do you two have any plans for the remainder of today?" She asked.
"No, not really." Saige said, carefully sipping her tea and taking a bite of on of the muffins "How much does all this cost?" she asked pulling out her pouch.

Fay thanked her for the tea.
"Well, I don't." She said honestly. "But I'll explore this place a little more tomorrow, for sure."
"No, not really." Saige said, carefully sipping her tea and taking a bite of on of the muffins "How much does all this cost?" she asked pulling out her pouch.
"Make sure you take your mask with you," Megan suggested to Fay. Fay didn't appear to be a super smiley person, thus her eager suggestion to keep the mask on her. These two newbies seemed nice, and she didn't want them getting into trouble their first day. "Cost. Uh, three, six,..." She added the total up. "$13 between the two of you," she replied.

"Yes, I will. Thank you for reminding me." Fay said and smiled nicely. She waited for Saige to pay, feeling a little guilty, but Saige probably wasn't going to let her pay if she insisted.

Saige reached in her pouch and took $15 out. She put it on the counter and added another $5 in tip.
"Oh, thank you!" Megan took the money and placed it in her cash box that was chained to the counter. "I don't have a cash register, just this box so I chained it for safety," she laughingly explained. "Would you like a muffin to go?" She asked.

"No thank you," Saige said and quickly finished her other muffin and tea.
