Hello,

I set eggs yesterday evening (3/15)

I am using a LG with forced air and a new turner. I set up the incubator the day before, and had temps stable.

Since putting the eggs in, the side with more eggs is always cooler (99.2) . The side of the incubator (the left) where there is a 3" gap with no eggs is staying hotter (100.5)

What should I do? Help - 2nd timer.

Yeah the motor puts off more heat on that turner. It is always a good idea to avoid putting eggs in the spots next to the motor due to the higher heat there.
At 100.5 maybe these eggs will just be early hatchers.

If you do get a few early hatchers you can leave them in for 2 days. Chicks survive on their yolks for 2 days. If the others are still taking longer very carefully remove the first ones making sure to not loose the humidity too fast. This is what causes the other chicks still in their eggs to shrink wrap. You can mist the eggs you are waiting on with warm water to keep them moist during the transfer. If needed add water through one of the vent holes by a tube. I use the tubes in the fish section of the pet store to add water to my bator.

Hopefully, you will get a smooth hatch and they will all hatch out ok. One thing I have noticed is each incubation experience always seems a bit different from the last.
I am on my 3rd incubation and am still learning myself.
