One SMART little Sebright! Pictures!

OH so happy we could give you all smiles! They are a pair, I will try to post pictures of them when they were younger, she has always followed him around like he was her mama. Its just to funny and truley a lasting friendship. He has moved up to the big time now being top roo and all, nice to see he hasnt forgotten the little... err umm... people? lol He really is a wonderful roo and she is a sweet little girl!

I think that's pretty smart of her, but there is one downside to it though, the BO poop might fall on her back while they are sleeping.

I never even thought of that! LOL Guess she was more concerned with being warm than being clean? lol

That just cracks me up all the more!

I went in search of pictures and looking at them brought back memories of these two. When they were younger she would not let him out of her sight. If he was too far she would squawk and squawk, which of course made him run right over to her. He simply was not allowed to be away from her and boy did he come runnin if she cried for him. It was SO funny! Here are a few pictures of these two when they were younger....

Baby pics... My 2yo ds won him (and named him Tractor) he happened to be colored the same color he is now... LOL We already had chicks so we figured we could add a few more and picked up little Carebear and 2 others at the feed store to keep him company since he was just too young to put with the other chicks. Guess it was love at first sight!

Which only encouraged my new addiction to chickens! And made my now 15 yo son very very happy!

I have Sooo many pictures of our chickens, I think sometimes the kids get jelous... hahaha Carebear and Tractor dont spend as much time together as they used to now that he has so much responsibility but it was sure nice to see he still takes good care of her.

That photo of Tractor perching on the pallet is really beautiful. That's a really good shot, and it shows off his beautiful gleaming hackle feathers. Good job Ms Photographer.

Carebear is one possessive little Sebright. Wow. I can understand if Tractor feels henpecked sometimes.
