Here's an update on my "sorry looking chicken ". She looks lovely now with all her new feathers.
I love the way most of them have a white tip to them.
Sadly I'm down to 10 girls now as one of my Plymouth Barred Rocks died a few days ago. She was one of my eldest & wasn't in the best of health, but it was a sad day.
Happy to say all the others are doing very well and laying lots of eggs, so many that I have to give them to neighbours (there's only 2 of us in the house). My partner says I shouldn't have so many chucks, but I'd have more not less.
