One week old chicks and crickets....VERY ENTERTAINING!!!

I just feed a few crickets to our one week old chicks and it was very entertaining!!!! They played tug-o-war with them and I actually thought I saw a few try to fly! Can't wait to do it again!

Lol yeah, when I bought some lil chickies about a month ago I tossed in some worms for them, it was just a mad scramble to run down the chick who had a worm in their beaks. I had birds jumping onto others, dog piling on each other, just comedy of the feathered kind.

How cute! We give ours mealworms and a chick will grab a mealworm and run away with it proudly-it is so adorable

I tossed a cricket into my brooder when mine were a week or so old. They were afraid of it! Lot's of chirring and hiding at the other end until it finally crawled out of the box! Silly girls! The little roo was the bravest and got close enough to eyeball the thing but that was as far as it went.
