(Gang)
Flood strolled casually over to the Prison Ravine where Misae was kept cornered. He walked hinto the shadowy rock walls, sighing as its shade broke the sun's heat from his back. "Yearling!" He nickered. "Come here, I need to speak with you."
~
Misae snorted in disgust as she emerged from a particularly concealing shadow. "Yeah?" She snapped irritably.
~
Flood bobbed his head in greeting. "Do you... Enjoy... Living in valley herd?" He nickered, keeping his tone friendly.
~
Misae hesitated. "Why? You got a better offer?" She growled back.
~
"You have the most potential I've seen in a filly your age in a long time." the bbig stallion stated frankly. "The valley herds horses will keep you from fully reaching that potential. That is why I brought you here."
~
"Kidnapped" Misae muttered under her breath, struggling to feign a nonchalant stance. She was becoming quite interested in the big Rouge's words. "Keep talking" she whinnied.
~
Flood pawed the loose stones on the ground eagerly. "If you join me, you will have a role in destroying both herds at once" he whinnied. "Without even swishing your tail." A malicious grin spread slowly across Flood's face at the thought of how easy it would be to destroy both stallions.
~
Misae squirmed uncomfortably. "Back story?" She queried.
~
"I was banished from the herds because of my parent's fault" he began, a slight trace of bitterness edging his tone. "My father was a mountain herd stallion who fell in love with my mother, who was from valley herd. When they discovered my ancestry, I was driven out."
~
"So you want revenge" Misae nickered confidently.
~
"Exactly" Flood replied.
~
Misae lowered her head. "I have sensed that the other horses do not fully trust me" she noted quietly. "I will join you, but if I sense for one moment that you are keeping something from me, I will go back to valley herd and I form them of what you are doing."
~
Flood nodded in agreement. "Good, good. It is important to make sure that you always have something going in your favor, excellent!" He whinnied in praise. "I need you to be my spy in Valley herd. Tell Paytah that Smoke causes all of your wounds in cold blood. Your purpose is to stir up hate between the two of them. The filly you fought with earlier is in Mountain herd as my spy right now."
~
Misae nodded eagerly. "I will go now" she whinnied, trotting past Flood, limping slightly.
