"I heard coyotes and boulders falling" Hinto hissed.

~Paytah's head snaps up completely and he stands foursquare, tail flagged warily. "Who else is awake?" he hissed back to Hinto. "We're going on a midnight patrol."~

Flood drove the young colt deeper into the trees, expertly maneuvering him into a tiny box canyon. "Otaktay!" He whinnied, "come see who live brought home!"
Matho pranced nervously, neighing desperately for his herd. He pinned his ears defiantly at Flood every time they made eye contact.

Pale Blood helped Flood maneuver the colt into the canyon and he easily blocked the way out if the colt tried to escape
