Ongoing Quilt Projects, Continued from the "No Appreciation...." Thread

I got mine done! Just need to bind it. I practiced all kinds of things....ruler work, loopy meander, all different swirls. It's the first time I tried anything but a simple meander on Lillian. I got lost many times and couldn't see where I had quilted because the thread blended so well. Overall I am pleased, but this won't be offered for sale. I am not anywhere near that point yet. It will be for the sofa for winter.

This turned out stunning!

I also read it found a great home! :yesss:

Finally, done! Still have to sign it somehow, but I think this one may already be spoken for. I may do a matching table runner plus maybe a quilted tote bag or two with the same rooster panels.

That came out really nice!! I love the green binding!
Thanks! It's not bad, I guess.

I made this small tote bag this morning to see how the pattern turned out. It has 3 pockets on each side. I added the rooster pic but I see I should raise it up a tad if I do this one again. This one is going to be a gift for someone I know.

I like that tote! The way the straps are should make it very strong.

I am making some from that horribly directional fabric I got.
Not the same pattern at all but still nice.

This is the style I am doing. No pockets on mine.

I will get a picture and brb.....

.
It's not big but worked well from her thorough instructions.

This is what the bottom looks like.

How big is the bag? Looks like you did a good job on it. I find some instructions difficult to follow, like they mean one thing and I hear another. Happened on mine with the strap instructions. What I thought it meant would have left raw edges showing, so I had to use a little common sense and read it differently.

I made mine a tad shorter than the one in the video.
My finished measurements are
11" from corner point to top
9" wide sides
and the bottom is 9" square when standing.

Mine is 2" shorter than the instructions. I wanted it to stand easier..... Yeah it didn't.

I have to read/watch over and over before I try new patterns. Even then things are left out or I still miss them.
