Ongoing Quilt Projects, Continued from the "No Appreciation...." Thread

I just found a quilt shop that rents out their quilting machine and at a rate that isn't all that bad - $30 per hour. The only problem is that their hours are while I am at work, ack! I am sure they book up fast on Saturday, and they are only open from 9 to noon on Saturday. Now that I know of a place that I can quilt queen & king size quilts, I may think about making a new quilt for our bedrooms.

Yesterday i started cutting more pieces for my patches and noticed i was running out of fabric. My SO was sick and was taking a nap but Hobby Lobby is closed on sundays so I needed to go before they closed. I woke him up by getting right in his face and saying "i need another jelly roll". I think he thought i was asking for a donut
He took me into town and fortune would have it that Hobby Lobby was having a HUGE sale. I got batting at 30 percent off and a sharpener for my rotary cutter at 3.79!

Good job! And you have a good man there. Mine would just say "order it online". Like that helps in an emergency such as you describe.

Well this is what I have been working on.
Top row- A Build a Quilt block of the month by Quilting is My Therapy
Middle - A paper piecing quilt along from National Quilters Circle
Bottom- A Dream Big Kabloom panel in progress. I am taking an online class from Bold Notion Quilting. I had to take it off the longarm because my HUSBAND'S cat decided it made a great hammock to sleep on.

Gorgeous, Terrie. Cats and quilts, always. Mine would do the same if I let him into my quilt room. I made him his own little quilt and he doesn't use it. He liked them big and in progress, LOL.

You should make him a catnip mat! My neighbor made one for my cat and she absolutely loves it. Its just a pillow with a velcro seal so you can restuff it with fresh catnip

Mine get all my free motion quilting practice sandwiches. You'd think that would be enough. Little ingrates.
