Ongoing Quilt Projects, Continued from the "No Appreciation...." Thread

I guess I'll revive this thread for a moment. i'm adding some photos of my current project that was sidelined in December when I caught a bug, was sick for just a couple of days then began coughing...and it's just now beginning to taper off as of Valentine's Day (thankfully!). Cannot quilt when you're hacking your lungs out, right?
Here are a few pics from this project and a couple of others. The teal and gold one is the current, in progress quilt.

They are all beautiful, especially the teal colored one. And, I love your sofa pillows, too!

I finally completed a medallion quilt that took 6 mos to do. It isn't that difficult, designed it myself, but from December onward, I had a terrible choking cough and was unable to do much quilting. It's hard to do free motion quilt as you're hacking your lungs out, ugh. Today it is finished. I'm not that thrilled with the quilting because of the way I was feeling all along the process, but it's done and it's on my bed. It's not a true bed quilt, more of a bed topper like you'd use decoratively on top of a solid colored bed covering, but it's enough for warmer nights. I sure did use a lot of thread, though! I want to wash it tomorrow to make it all crinkly-cozy.

Yes, I am, FINALLY! It was a long haul and stopped me from doing a lot of what I wanted to do. I'm never sick so it was unsettling, to say the least.
That looks really nice!! The quilting looks perfect to me. 🩷

Wishing you good health going forward.
Thank you. It's not perfect, but it's a tribute to persistence through adversity. I had to finish it. Who else would if I didn't, right?

I have made three lap quilt tops since the teal-and-gold bed topper. Two are already sandwiched and I started quilting it today. I'm taking a break from creating may own ideas to using the three yard quilt patterns by Fabric Cafe. Great YouTube channel plus quilt kits, fabrics, individual patterns and books.
These two are the ready-to-quilt ones, both Fabric Cafe patterns; the peach and floral one is called Levity because the floral blocks seem to float in front of the others and. The one in browns, blues and beiges is called diversion. I wasn't happy with the focus fabric I picked, the floral one, because it seems to have too much white in the background of the fabric to really stand out the way I wanted it to, but at least I found I had enough yardage in a coordinating fabric to back it so it's under the needle now.
