GRRRR,halfway through a quilt on the longarm and the stitch regulator stopped working. and the stitches looked awful. Ok, poor Lillian has been worked to death lately and needs some service. So only after I took the quilt off the frame and started unpicking the substandard quilting, I thought to check that everything was plugged in properly. It was not. The cable for the stitch regulator came unplugged. So I guess I will get the bad stitching off and start over. Sigh.

My main thing is larger throat space since I push the quilt through it on my own power, no large frame. I'd like an inset table set up so there is no "hump" for the quilt to fall off of. But, I don't do anything except quilt, no clothes, no embroidery, nothing except piecing and quilting.

oh, no, you had a day worse than mine! So sorry, T. Of course, I have no stitch regulator in the first place, everything is manual and up to me. Some days, I wish for perfect, even stitches and automatic tension!

The manual wasn't working well either. That's why I thought all that going wrong means Lillian needs some love at the service place. Fortunately I "just happen" to be heading to Portland for my girl vacation in about 2 and a half weeks. Lillian will get some spa time and I get to shop and go to a quilt show. Win Win

We would tear it up!
You betcha!

I saw this video and thought her table mods were pretty good ideas. You have likely already seen it but here it is anyway in case anyone can use it.
